Throughout his thirty year career within the steel industry, Paul has maintained his creative interest in the visual arts developed during time spent studying Fine Art at Wakefield College and Manchester Polytechnic. His particular interest is in steel sculpture and architectural ironmongery, accepting commissions from private individuals and companies. He has also worked with several public sector and charitable organisations on the design and implementation of sculptures for public spaces.
His most recent commission involved working with staff and pupils of a primary school to facilitate their design of a stainless steel abstract sculpture for a local housing estate which Paul then fabricated and installed.
